The original Dome Stud is where is all started. A carefully engineered patented polymer multi-purpose stud that is suitable for all equestrian activities and legal for Polo, Polocrosse and Horse Racing.
This stud is perfect for maintaining grip on good and semi hard to soft going. The rounded edges and smaller dimensions make ideal for young riders and young horses, horses who move close in front or behind, as well as those prone to overreaching. It also has been used around the biggest five star courses in the world in both soft and hard ground.
Stud height: 11mm high from base of thread to tip, 19mm in total
Thread size: Universal 3/8th 'Whitworth' thread.
All our studs were designed by engineers with the help of vets and farriers and are made using the latest technology and advanced materials. These next-generation studs prioritise safety for horse and rider, efficiency in application and removal, as well as welfare and performance. Taking inspiration from the human sports world, our products reduce the chance of lacerations and injuries, therefore improving horse welfare but also rider and handler safety. These patented polymer studs are entirely metal free and therefore there is no risk of cross-threading or rusting.
